Live Online

A live 4 week course teaching you everything you need to know to write successful grant applications.

Grant funding isn't a lottery. It's a language you can learn, once you speak it, the doors open to a wide range of potential funding opportunities

We’ll help you identify grants, write a grant funding blueprint you can use as a foundation for applying to multiple funders, and give you the opportunity to have your applications reviewed Live by grant funding expert Alex Finberg.

This group learning environment is both empowering and inspiring, you learn so much from those in the group who are drafting applications and refining them with Alex’s help

Choose Your Level of Support

Everyone gets the full 4-week course. The difference is how much personal help you get with your application.

🟢 Standard — £100*
The full course. Everything you need to write applications with confidence.

All 4 live modules, the Successful Bid Library, your reusable funding blueprint, and the Bid Review Circle community. You'll watch live application reviews in Weeks 3 & 4 — seeing real bids transformed in the room — and if time allows, yours could be one of them. Perfect if you're a confident self-starter who wants the map, the method and the momentum.

You leave with: a chosen fund, a defined project, and a blueprint you'll use for years.

🔵 Group Plus — £250
Everything in Standard, plus guaranteed feedback on your bid.

Your application will be reviewed — by name, on screen — in Weeks 3 & 4. You'll also get a written review of your draft against the funder's criteria, so the feedback goes deeper than the call alone. Plus a pre-course group mentoring call to get you ahead before Week 1 even starts. Limited places, so every bid gets its moment.

Best for: you've got a live deadline and you want certainty your application gets expert eyes.

Only 10 guaranteed-review places per cohort.

🟣 One-to-One — £600 individuals / £900 CIC’s, Charities & Organisations
Everything above, plus Alex in your corner — privately.

A dedicated one-to-one session on your specific application, written and refined with you. A private review of your final draft before you submit, and a direct line to Alex for your questions throughout. This is done-with-you support for the application that matters most.

By application only. We take just 2–3 per cohort, so we can give each one everything it needs.

Why more for CICs & charities? Organisational bids — National Lottery, UnLtd, The Fore — are larger, higher-value and need more written depth and budget work. The price reflects the level of support that goes in.

For single person CICs / Startups you can choose the £600 option.

Pricing & Payment Plans

We offer payment plans with a 25% non refundable deposit. Pay in monthly instalments over a max term of 6 months

*£100 is an early bird offer: tickets will increase to £150 once the first 10 places are filled

What you'll walk away with

By the end of this course you'll have a reusable blueprint — your own library of templates, budgets and case studies of successful applications, you can adapt for every future application!

4 Live Online Modules

Week 1 — Getting Started: The Funding Mindset Find the grants that actually match your project. Stop wasting months on applications you were never going to win.

Week 2 — Writing Your Application Learn the three-part structure every winning bid uses: Need. Plan. Impact. Write your first 500 words in a grant funding “splurge” then refine it down into a blueprint you can use and tweak again and again.

Week 3 — Budgeting Your Grant Move from "guessing" to "governance." Build a budget funders actually trust. Live Application Reviews: the opportunity to submit your applications and go through them with live feedback

Week 4 — Submitting & Delivering From "Applicant" to "Grant Manager." Hit send with confidence. Then deliver the project without the chaos - build relationships with funders and get your projects funded. Live Application Reviews: the opportunity to submit your applications and go through them with live feedback - Final Audit of Applications.
