Graduates of the Woodcrafters Facilitator Training can apply for a licence to practice Woodcraft for Wellbeing* under their own name, with full access to our trademarked toolkits, resources, peer supervision, and practitioner network.

Who it is for

Graduates of the Woodcrafters Facilitator Training who wish to run Woodcraft for Wellbeing sessions in their own communities, either as a sole practitioner or through a CIC or small community organisation of up to five facilitators, with one trained lead practitioner.

You must have attended & completed our Woodcrafters Facilitator Training to apply for a licence. Full information on licencing requirements below*

Licencing Conditions

*The Woodcrafters licence renews annually when you provide evidence of current public liability insurance, an enhanced DBS check where your work requires it, safeguarding training, a current first aid certificate and a commitment to continued professional development.

Woodcrafters uphold professional standards to ensure the people who come to your sessions, and the organisations who refer them, can trust they will receive a high quality experience of Woodcraft for wellbeing, run safely & professionally by trained practitioners

3 Membership Tiers

Whether you practice a craft, run craft workshops yourself, or want to offer woodcraft for wellbeing in your own community or organisation, there is a membership tier built for you. (*Full membership benefits in the grid table below)

Members receive the full online library, the Business and Marketing School, the Grant Funding Academy and access to our community of practitioners. £12/month

Licensed Practitioners, as sole traders or small organisation of up to 5 staff, add the Woodcraft for Wellbeing licence, session materials, peer supervision and direct support. £25/month

Partner Organisations train their own staff to run sessions in-house, with our materials, evaluation tools and a named contact. £750 / year

What happens after you apply for your Licence?

Once signed up, you’ll receive an email with your login to the online learning platform, your invitation to the WhatsApp community and your tool and workshop discount code. Once you’ve provided evidence of a DBS / Safeguarding Training, First Aid certificate we’ll send you a resource pack showing you how to get up and running with your Woodcraft for Wellbeing sessions.

FAQs

  • Do I have to have attended the Facilitator Training? Yes and you must have completed your certificate before you can apply for a licence

  • Can I cancel? Yes. Licenced Practitioners may cancel at any time, however your licence will no longer be valid and your access to the resources and online community will be revoked

  • Can I become licensed later? Yes. Licensing follows completion of the Woodcrafters Facilitator Training, and members receive a discount on the training.

  • Do all five facilitators need to have trained with you? Small organisations may nominate 1 lead Woodcraft for Wellbeing Practitioner to complete the training and run Woodcraft for Wellbeing Sessions

  • What if my organisation is larger? See Partner Organisations.

  • What happens if my licence lapses? You may no longer run sessions under the Woodcrafters name or use the branding, but you may rejoin as a Member at any time.
